Rainy Day At Home Workout

Rainy days are perfect for binge watching Netflix. Honestly, I didn’t want to post pictures of my body today. I had a feast yesterday and didn’t eat the best or exercise over the weekend but hey guys, this is real life. I’m only human, we’ve got to stop being so damn hard on ourselves. So what if we get bloated, so what if our bodies don’t look like a fitness model every day?! All you can do is what’s in your control in the here and now. Let go of the guilt, do what makes you happy πŸ’ͺπŸ’•

Here’s my at home workout that I do when the weather isn’t cooperating with me for my runs outside. 

Warm up (5 minutes)

  • Stretching (2 mins) 
  • 50 jumping jacks 
  • 30 burpees
  • 50 jumping jacks 
  • 30 second high knees 

Full body workout: 20 minutes 

3x each, 30 second rest in between sets:

  • Squat with side leg lift (20 reps)    
  • Elbow plank with twist (15 reps each side)                                                    
  • Mountain climbers (30 seconds)  
  • Bridge with leg kick (20 reps each side)                                                    
  • Plank (30 sec)                                    
  • Donkey kicks (20 reps)                    
  • 15 push-ups                                       
  • Alternating superman (60 secs)   
  • Jumping squats (30 secs)                
  • Front lunges (15 each side)             
  • Burpees (30 seconds) 

Post workout:

  • Stretch and 🎢🎢🎢
