Anyone who has tried their luck with cooking banana pancakes knows it can be pretty disappointing. I got tired of burning them and having them fall apart instead of looking like the ones I saw on Pinterest. You really only need three ingredients, which is awesome because they’re easy to make. And yes, I made banana hearts.
Here’s what you need:
- A banana
- 1 egg
- Handful of oats
Tip: Add a little extra banana to make your banana fluffier.
Here’s how you make it:
- Mash the banana up into a bowl
- Add the egg into the bowl and scramble it up.
- Add a handful of oats.
You can also add:
- Almond Butter
You’re doing it wrong if you:
- Cook them on high. Try to keep it at a solid 5-6 tops, and be careful flipping them! If you cook them on high too fast the outsides will burn and when you go to flip it, it will crumble like a Nature Valley granola bar.
- Add stuff too it! don’t eat them plain- that’s boring. Spice it up with some yogurt, honey, peanut butter, and fruit.
